Here's the lobby, where they sit their VIPs (like us) to have a glass of champagne while the staff checks us in!

The lobby was all done up for Christmas - it was markedly different for New Year's, but we didn't get a picture of that

Parrots in the lobby - pretty, but they jumped on this guy's shoulder one day and seemed about to peck his eyes out!

Our room, with four poster king-size bed, and ...
sitting area! Cute, huh?
Da beach - we heard those float trikes were tipsy, so we stayed away from them!
Looking the other way down the beach
Anchored boats and a sailboat going by, from the courtyard of the main building
Gotta watch out for those beach vendors, selling everything from cruises around the island, to music, to aloe for sunburns!
Found a cool oversize outdoor chessboard!
Jason was thrilled to check it out...
and even used the relaxing time to teach Kristi how to play!
Took a little nap in this little swing for couples one afternoon
The main bar (in shadow) looking out to the beach from the courtyard - one of the restaurants is above it

Very beautiful grounds - here's an arch made of the local flora, looks pretty new, but it'll be nicely filled in soon, we're sure
A view of the main pool, complete with swim-up bar!
Our pool, steps from our front door - and yes, that's Kristi sunbathing on the float!
One of the music-playing rocks scattered along the walkways
It rained monsoon-like on our last full day there - thank goodness we were hanging at our pool, we just had to duck in our little patio and watch it rain!
The cute little "rondoval" cottages down the hill from our room
And the best rooms at the place, with balconies directly overlooking the beach, only steps away to the right
